We worked together to rewrite the Little Red Hen focusing on the conventions of standard English grammar, capitalization, punctuation and spelling.
· Students used a combination of drawing, dictating, and writing to narrate a single event or several loosely linked events, tell about the events in order in which they occurred, and provide a reaction to what happened.

We completed our unit by working together to follow the events in the story. The end result was delicious pizza bagels.
