Dear Harrison Families,

This past Thursday, we celebrated our final assembly together by watching the last Hawk Talk of the year. 

On Monday, June 23rd, we will have our school-wide Pizza Party. All classes will watch our 5th graders playing with and/or against our staff in either Volleyball or Kickball. If the temperature is too hot on Monday and Tuesday, we will celebrate indoors by playing Volleyball where the school can cycle into the gym to cheer on our 5th graders! This event is for school staff only. Thank you to our PTA for their support and for providing a pizza celebration for all our school on Monday!

On Tuesday, June 24th, it is a tradition that the 5th graders get clapped out of the school to celebrate their final day at Harrison. For many of our students and families, this has been their home for many years! 5th Graders will be dismissed out of door 10 (2nd Grade Dismissal door) on the middle blacktop where their parents will line up to clap them out. If you are not a 5th-grade parent, please give the courtesy to 5th-grade parents to clap their children outside that door. Cones will be set up where all the 5th-grade parents are invited to line up and give our children the memory they deserve.  After the clap-out, all other students will exit through their normal grade-level doors. Kindergarten dismissal will be at 12:00 pm with the rest of the school as they participate in the clap out for 5th graders.

Please make sure all library books have been returned to the Media Center. Report Cards go live on Tuesday after school.
