• Katherine Hall Page, LHS Alumni and Author, Visits the Lvingston Public Library

During the 2011 Homecoming Weekend, the community was able to meet and listen to Katherine Hall Page, a 1965 alumni of Livingston High School.  She is an award winning author of mystery novels and short stories.  Her talk was entitled, It’s a Mystery to Me.

A Note from Katherine Hall Page:

"I had not been back to Livingston for roughly 18 years and you can go home again! I was thrilled by the warm reception at the library from an audience that braved the thunderstorm to come to the talk, "It's a Mystery To Me."

Of course I was astonished, and pleased, to see the expanded library and (from the outside), the high school. I received a wonderful education at LHS and have always been grateful to the caring, intelligent teachers there, as well as Ruth Rockwood, my mentor at the library. Wonderful that LEF is working to continue this essential tradition of excellence.
Driving around town I did not get lost as I feared, but more surprises—especially in Livingston Center.  Although I have not lived in the state for most of my life, I have never considered myself to be anything but a proud Jersey girl.”
